Racks of educational toys like learning mats, arts and craft supplies, puzzles and the ever-popular role-playing costumes are lined in up in a row out front to buy. But Field offers all these activities for the kids, too, and seven finger paintings were drying on a counter next to two child-size tables and chairs.
A soft-surface play area has two trampolines and sturdy hanging apparatus and a carpet swing. There are plenty of things to climb on and slide down; even a zip line. An Imagination Center in the back has a train table, building boxes, a child-sized kitchen, circus tent and workout toys.
